This study investigates the spectral variation of black hole X-ray binaries using Monte Carlo Simulations for different spatial distributions of cold gas clouds in hot accretion flows. The variation of inhomogeneous accretion flow can be described with different physical parameters, including temperature gradients, optical depth, cloud coverage, and reflection efficiency. The results indicate that higher optical depth enhances photon scattering, significantly increasing the cooling rate and producing denser cold cloud distributions. Systems with temperature gradients exhibit higher cooling rates in the inner regions, where hot gas transitions into cold clouds more efficiently. Additionally, greater cloud coverage and reflection efficiency lead to widespread and uniform cold cloud formation across larger areas. The findings demonstrate that both local physical conditions and global cloud configurations play crucial roles in the state transition process of black hole X-ray binaries.
